The Bahamas Film & Television Commission participated in the National Association of Television Production Executives ( NATPE ) Trade Show in Miami Beach from January 22-25, 2012.

NATPE is the premier gathering for original content as the platform which promotes television production business with creators, distributors, advertisers, finance facilitators and other forms on communications. The Bahamas continued to build on its relationship with Film Florida, as it shared marketing and promotions space with the Florida-based organization.

As an associate member of Film Florida, The Bahamas Film and Television Commission met with over 700 buyers from 65 countries seeking to develop new content for their audiences. In addition to the marketing/promotions interface, NATPE assembles a large array of industry speakers who share their time and talents freely to help assist the growth and forward movement of the industry. The Bahamas Film Commission continued talks with old partners and introduced new prospects to the opportunities of  television production in The Bahamas, whether it be action-adventure, comedy and drama, or telenovellas alongside the South Florida and Latin American markets.
