Bahamas Film Commissioner receives CFC

Certified Film Commissioner designation from the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) at the recently held Cineposium - Film Tourism Summit 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.

Mr. Woods completed the three parts of the AFCI University industry courses by way of online and face-to-face encounters. The programme is geared toward film commission practitioners who are engaged in the production business full-time. Course material includes: Film Commission Fundamentals - The Beginning,  Marketing, Economic Development, Advanced Film Studies, Management, working with writers, producers, directors, location managers, and a host of topics which impact moviemaking.

The AFCI is a non-profit organization that serves to educate, represent and provide marketing opportunities for its member Film Commissions. The Mission of the AFCI is the advancement and promotion of excellence in the global production of media on location, in a positive, responsible and professional manner.
