Director for Europe, Mr. Anthony Stuart accepted the award on behalf of The Ministry of Tourism from Mr. M. Harris, Chief Executive Advisor, the European Society for Quality Research.

– The Bahamas Ministry
of Tourism won the Platinum Award at The European Awards for Best
Practices 2016 in Brussels. The awards run by the European Society for
Quality Research (ESQR), recognize outstanding commitment, support and
results in quality management strategies along with
customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Representing
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and receiving the award was Director
for Europe, Anthony Stuart. Mr Stuart said
that the award demonstrates that efforts by The Bahamas Ministry of
Tourism and stakeholders are noticed and celebrated. He added that
winning the Platinum Award at The European Awards for Best Practices is a
wonderful achievement for any organization.
“Our
team at The Ministry of Tourism and stakeholders in the industry work
very hard to keep The Islands Of The Bahamas
at the forefront. This is the second year in a row that we are
recognized by the European Society for Quality Research ESQR, having won
the Gold Award in 2015. We want to continue to not only meet our
