Bahamas Ministry of Tourism Receives Platinum Award at European Awards for Best Practices 2016

Director for Europe, Mr. Anthony Stuart accepted the award on behalf of The Ministry of Tourism from Mr. M. Harris, Chief Executive Advisor, the European Society for Quality Research.

Brussels, Belgium – The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism won the Platinum Award at The European Awards for Best Practices 2016 in Brussels. The awards run by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), recognize outstanding commitment, support and results in quality management strategies along with customer satisfaction and loyalty.  

Representing The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and receiving the award was Director for Europe, Anthony Stuart. Mr Stuart said that the award demonstrates that efforts by The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and stakeholders are noticed and celebrated. He added that winning the Platinum Award at The European Awards for Best Practices is a wonderful achievement for any organization.  

“Our team at The Ministry of Tourism and stakeholders in the industry work very hard to keep The Islands Of The Bahamas at the forefront. This is the second year in a row that we are recognized by the European Society for Quality Research ESQR, having won the Gold Award in 2015. We want to continue to not only meet our guests’ expectations but strive to exceed them. We want to offer the best service possible and have them enjoy a vacation of a lifetime. We trust that their experiences will encourage them to keep returning to our destination and that they will keep spreading the news that The Bahamas is still one of the best places in the world to vacation” said Mr Stuart.  

The European Awards for Best Practices program takes a comprehensive look at the initiatives and strategies that business leaders implement in their companies and organizations; it recognizes the efforts of exceptional and talented employers and employees and provides motivation for continuous progress.
