NASSAU, The Bahamas – Changing the landscape of the Bahamian tourism industry requires the collaboration of a dedicated team of stakeholders. For a project as transformative as Baha Mar, governmental and tourism industry partners are an important part of the story. Baha Mar and Ministry of Tourism executives met recently to discuss marketing objectives and strategies for both Baha Mar and The Bahamas. Namely, Baha Mar’s potential to attract a greater numbers of tourists from untapped, high potential markets such as Latin America and China.

“Marketing Baha Mar effectively and attracting increasing numbers of visitors to The Bahamas is our number one goal. The strong relationship that we have with the Ministry of Tourism is part of advancing that effort. Baha Mar’s success will be a win for the people of The Bahamas”, said Denise Godreau, Chief Marketing Officer at Baha Mar.
