Bahamian actor, Renel Brown selected for Swedish Education Film

Bahamian actor Renel Brown was the lead actor in the Bahamian feature film, Rain by Maria Govan.

Nassau, Bahamas - Bahamian actor, Renel Brown who was selected by the Swedish Education Film Company, Tellus Vision to represent The Bahamas and Caribbean Region in a short film which depicts island life.

The project consists of a series of 12 short films, each filmed in a different country. Other confirmed countries included:  Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Nigeria, England, Australia, India USA, ( New York and Los Angeles) Sweden and The Bahamas.
 
Within each film, one young person will be the focus and give an insight into their lives – where they live, local attractions, their hobbies and interests and so on. The production company will also learn a little about the country as a whole during the film. These films will be shown internationally in schools and used as an educational tool to teach youngsters about different cultures, as well as helping pupils improve their English language skills.

This is a great opportunity for  Renel to showcase everything that is fantastic about The Bahamas and the Caribbean Region to show the diversity amongst the different cultures to audiences worldwide. 

Other locations included: Government House, Arawak Cay, Pirates Museum, British Colonial Hilton, Prince George Wharf, Pentecostal Church, Queens Staircase, Columbus Monument, playing Dominoes, Greek Church, Long Wharf and Renel's House.
