Delta Airlines officials paid a courtesy call on Bahamas Ministry of Tourism officials recently at Graycliff Restaurant. On that occasion, Delta Air Lines and the Ministry were able to discuss strategic joint partnership initiatives in a more relaxed setting. Not least of these is the burgeoning success of the newly launched scheduled nonstop flights by Delta to Marsh Harbour, Abaco and North Eleuthera from its Atlanta hub. These flights join the successful Atlanta to George Town, Exuma nonstop scheduled flight which was launched a few years ago. Because of this,Exuma, Abaco, Harbour Island and Eleuthera enjoy tremendously improved market access.
Delta continues to operate a very robust schedule of daily nonstop flights to Nassau/Paradise Island and Grand Bahama Island from its Atlanta hub. In addition, Delta continues to operate nonstop flights to Nassau/Paradise Island from
both JFK and La Guardia airports in New York.
