Devon Franklin and Meagan Good coming to Grand Bahama to host 2014 Strong Faith Conference

FREEPORT, Bahamas -  From glory to glory, Grand Bahama Island continues to be the hub for Religious Tourism initiatives and conferences. Attracting hundreds of attendees and global viewership, faith based travel remains an area of intent focus for the island. With the affinity that has been developed for the island by the religious market, Grand Bahama remains the choice destination for International religious events such as Dr. Myles Munroe’s Global Leadership Forum, Angela Pipersburgh’s International Women’s Summit and TBN’s Praise the Lord.

The Ministry of Tourism’s Religious Tourism unit in its mandate to boost the economy during the shoulder season, September- November, has set out to maximize religious events on Grand Bahama by reaching out to churches and religious groups in a spirit of partnership. In it in this vain that the Ministry of Tourism has extended their support to the Freeport Seventh- Day Adventist Church in holding the 2014 Strong Faith Leadership Conference, November 21st- 23rd at the Grand Lucayan Resort.

The conference will feature Devon Franklin, Senior Vice President of Production at Colombia Pictures, Seventh Day Adventist International Inspirational Leader, Motivational Speaker and Preacher, along with his wife, Meagan Good, Hollywood Actress. Together, the team will share their individual testimonies as well as their courting journey that lead towards their model marriage.

Beginning on Friday, November 21st at 4:30pm attendees will have the opportunity to sit in on workshops featuring topics including but not limited to; empowerment and leadership and hear from conference key note speakers, Meagan and Devon. A romantic stage play entitled “It’s All About Love”, by MOL Productions featuring: Will Stubbs, Patrice Johnson, Tawari Rogers, Mark Gardiner, Brian Roxbury, Erica Weir, Karenda Swain and many others will be a treat to all. Adventist Youth Leader, Arlette Sands describes the event as “an historic and monumental moment for Grand Bahama only made possible by the spirit of God.”

The three day event is promised to be a well-rounded, empowering and uplifting encounter that will appeal to both teenagers and young adults; whether single or married.

Tickets for the full event are $40 regular seating, $60 VIP and can be purchased at Coral Pharmaceuticals on Logwood Road or the Evangeline Jervis Community Service center located on Beachway Drive and Gambier Drive, across from Walter Parker School.
