Freeport, Bahamas - After beating out students from around
the country, Gabriele Josephs of Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Academy in Grand
Bahama is the new Junior Minister of Tourism.
The competition was held at
Superclub Breezes on Thursday, April 28. Josephs receives not only the title,
but also, the Patrick S Bain Scholarship tenable at the College of The Bahamas,
an all-expense paid four -day trip to Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Youth
Congress, $500.00 cash prize and a trophy. His school also receives $500.00 and
a floating trophy.
Paloma Cartwright
from the N.G.M Major High School in Long Island followed in second place
and in third place was Jacquon Minnis
from the C.R. Walker Senior High School.
