Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas - The 2008-2010
Executive Board for the GB Taxi Union expressed gratitude
to the Ministry of Tourism & Aviation for its efforts to boost tourism
to the island.
The 400 plus ship calls during this GB
Taxi Union Executive Board’s tenure translated into nearly 1 million
taxi fares for union members. To express their gratitude, Ms. Karen
Seymour, Director-Grand Bahama Island for The Ministry of Tourism &
Aviation, was presented with an inscribed, fully-intact and preserved
conch shell prepared by Mr. George Symonette, Transportation Chairman
– GB Taxi Union 2008-2010 Executive Board.
