Nassau, The Bahamas - Staff members of the Bahamas Film and Television Commission met recently with recording star, Lenny Kravitz, who is of Bahamian ancestry.

Regarded as one of the preeminent rock musicians of our time, Lenny Kravitz has transcended genre, style, race and class into a 19 year musical career, one which revels in the rich influences of '60s, and '70s soul, rock and funk.

Leonard Albert "Lenny" Kravitz won the Grammy Award for "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" four years in a row from 1999 to 2002 breaking the record for most wins in that category.
