Orlando's Mauiva AirCruise set to launch stops in Grand Bahama

Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas – Mauiva AirCruise, based in Orlando, Florida is set to launch their 7 days/6 nights Sun & Fun Experience in Caribbean Paradise with four soft-launch trips:

    November 5
    December 23
    December 27
    March 16, 2013

The boutique destination inclusive packages include airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation and activities.

The 29-passenger Mauiva AirCruise Embraer EMB Brasilia 120 aircraft will arrive at the Grand Bahama International Airport’s recently completed Fixed Based Operation.  The Ad Hoc flights are intended to be a trial period before a formal launch is announced.

Mauiva's Caribbean Tour Package will depart from Orlando, Florida and spend two days at the Grand Lucayan Beach Resort, on Grand Bahama Island, two days on Grand Cayman and two days in Cancun, Mexico.  Deluxe resort accommodations, breakfast, lunch, dinner and VIP access to various attraction tours are included in the Comprehensive Package.

The trip highlights unique nature-based experiences including but not limited to:

  • Snorkeling & Fun Cruise –The sparkling water surrounding Grand Bahama Island is ideal for snorkeling.
  • Jeep Tour- Buckle up for an off-road tour to the remote wonders of the island, including an evergreen forest, secluded beaches and a sparkling blue sinkhole.
  • Bonfire and Culture Show- The evening begins on a beautiful white-sand beach where your buffet dinner is served. Then, the party begins. Dance around the roaring bonfire and see if a limbo contest breaks out!
  • Dolphin Cove – A "fintastic" experience for people of all ages, interact with parrots and other small critters.
  • Stingray City –Get right in the crystal clear water with the stingrays and tropical fish. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
  • Xplor- Swim among stalactites in an underground river, enjoy a 2-mile glide over the jungle and explore the ancient worlds of the Mayan people.
  • Chichen Itza- The Great Pyramid, the Ball Park the Observatory, the Monk Convent and the Water Well are a part of this amazing experience.
The newly constructed facility at Grand Bahama International Airport is a multi-purpose building (FBO and GBAC Administration) with a total 8000 sq. ft. with about 4000 sq. ft allotted for the Fixed Base Operation, which will provide inspection stations for Bahamas Customs and Immigration for inbound flights, as well as Airport Police, Public Reception, Public Lounge; passenger and aircraft meet and greet, fuelling, catering, ground handling and customer services related to processing of government documents, etc.
