Talkin’ Tourism radio show to broadcast live January 22 from Bimini, Bahamas

STUART, FL, - T alkin’ Tourism on Florida’s Treasure Coast, a Treasure Coast , Florida based radio talk show , which airs on WPSL 1590 AM, will broadcast live from the island of Bimini in the Bahamas this Friday, January 22.

 

Show hosts Gary Guertin and Robin Hicks-Connors continue to take the show on the road to hype travel between Florida and the Bahamas.

 

“For decades Treasure Coast and South Florida residents have benefited from having a tropical playground one with over 700 islands and cays—so close to our shores. Collaborative efforts with Bahamian resort and marina properties to enhance tourism in both countries, makes economic sense,” said Guertin. “ Talkin’ Tourism keeps pushing that message and folks are listening.”

 

Guests for the January 22 show include Bill and Nowdla Keefe, owners and operators of KEEFE’S Bimini Undersea, who will detail underwater opportunities available off of Bimini from the novice snorkeler to the experience SCUBA diver, as well as Danielle Dunfee, sales and marketing director at Bimini Bay Resort & Marina.

 

The January 22 show is the fourth to air live from an international location. Previous remotes have been produced from Green Turtle Cay and Grand Bahama in the Bahamas, and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.

 

Talkin’ Tourism on Florida’s Treasure Coast airs every Friday on WPSL 1590 AM from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The show can also be heard live on the Internet at www.wpsl.com .

 

Talkin’ Tourism on Florida’s Treasure Coast began broadcasting one year ago and is produced by Harborage Yacht Club & Marina.

 

In addition to being the on air hosts for Talkin' Tourism, Gary Guertin is the general manager of Harborage Yacht Club & Marina, and Robin Hicks-Connors is president/CEO of the Historical Society of Martin County.
