The Other Woman Cast raves about the location The Bahamas has received five-star reviews from popular actresses Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton, who are still raving about their time on the island months after shooting portions of Fox Studio’s feature film The Other Woman on location in Nassau. The cast and crew filmed in The Bahamas in August 2013, and although the trio worked long hours, it did not stop the ladies from taking time out to enjoy the sunny vacation destination. Photos of the smiling bikini-clad celebrities splashing around in the clear blue water and lounging on the powdery white sand flooded social media websites and entertainment blogs over the past few months. In a recent interview with E! News, Diaz and Mann said they had “so much fun” filming on location in The Bahamas. Diaz, the lead actress who plays Carly Whitten, said the women made lots of memories together on the local beaches. “In The Bahamas we went swimming,” she recalled. “We would go everyday after work and dive into the water while the sun was setting.” Mann, who plays Kate King, laughed as she admitted that the trio also got into a little mischief while on the island, which both actresses suggested is a great place for “girl bonding.”
The Other Woman is centered on three women who discover they are all having a romantic relationship with the same man. The women team up to plot revenge on Mark King played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of popular HBO series Game of Thrones. Their comical journey takes them through the heart of The Bahamas’ capital with scenes in Downtown Nassau, and over to Paradise Island, where the women are shown enjoying the beaches, and some partying at the Cain Pool at the Cove, Atlantis. The actresses gave interviews to 20th Century Fox while on location in The Bahamas. It was the first time that Leslie Mann publicly spoke about the beautiful beaches and the great weather. “We have had the best locations,” she said in her interview. “We get to The Bahamas and we all went into the ocean. We were just like ‘Thank you God!’ We also prayed for good weather, and we got it!” Kate Upton, who is a newcomer to the movie business, said she hopes she is lucky enough to film in such beautiful locations throughout her career. “My bar has been set very high. We’ve been filming in New York City in The Bahamas, in Hamptons. I’m like wow I could get used to this,” said an excited Upton. After months of filming and post-production, the film is due for theatrical release April 25. The film also stars Don Johnson and rapper Nicki Minaj.
