19CCEM Organisers Discuss Upcoming Conference with COB President

Ms. Valerie Gaitor, Coordinator of the 19CCEM Local Secretariat; Mr. Marcellus Taylor, Deputy Director of Education and Deputy Head of the 19CCEM Task Force; COB President Dr. Rodney D. Smith; and Mrs. Janice Knowles, Senior Education Officer and Coordinator of the 19CCEM.

Organisers of the 19th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers (19CCEM), slated to be held at the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island, June 22nd – 26th, paid a courtesy call on the President of The College of The Bahamas Dr. Rodney D. Smith on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015. Mr. Marcellus Taylor, Deputy Director of Education and Deputy Head of the 19CCEM Task Force; Mrs. Janice Knowles, Senior Education Officer and Coordinator of the 19CCEM and Ms. Valerie Gaitor, Coordinator of the 19CCEM Local Secretariat discussed with President Smith the goals and objectives of the upcoming, high-level assembly. The College of The Bahamas is supporting the conference as an integral conduit for the thorough analysis of education in the Commonwealth. The 19CCEM will he held under the theme “Quality Education for Equitable Development: Performance, Paths and Productivity”.
