The Bahamas Likes Their Wendy's!

Nassau, New Providence - Another Wendy's officially opened in The Bahamas today in the Cable Beach area with a blessing, ribbon cutting, remarks, and a Bahamian Junkanoo performance.

Hon. Zhivargo Laing, MP; Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, MP, and Rev. Constantine Xantakis were on hand for the special occasion along with Christopher Tsavoussis (Pres. Wendy's Bahamas), Roland Smith (CEO & President Wendy's/Arby's Group), Terry Tsavoussis (V.P Wendy's Bahamas), and Yolanda Pawar (Marketing Manager Wendy's Bahamas).

Roland Smith, CEO from Wendy's in the US included these interesting statistics in his remarks:

“This is our 9th Wendy’s the Bahamas. Surveys done locally indicate that Wendy's is the favorite fast food of Bahamians.”

"Wendy's was rated number one fast food in quality, value, and dining experience in the USA.

You can find Wendy's in Nassau at: Seagrape Shopping Centre; Lynden Pindling International Airport; Thompson Boulevard; Bernard Road; Golden Gates; Mall at Marathon; Mackey Street, and their headquarters on Harold Road. Wendy's has one outlet in Grand Bahama on East Mall Drive.

Wendy's new interior decor in this outlet is unique. There are no stores in the US with this new look yet.
