Nassau, The Bahamas – CIBC FirstCaribbean Private Wealth Management has further personalized client services in The Bahamas by opening an office in Nassau at the Goodman’s Bay Corporate Centre which already houses the bank’s Bahamas-based Trust Company. The West Bay Street office is the second one to open regionally.

A cocktail reception at Lyford Cay marked the occasion on January 28th, hosted by Marie Rodland-Allen, Managing Director for CIBC FirstCaribbean (Bahamas) Limited and Daniel Wright, Managing Director, CIBC FirstCaribbean Private Wealth Management. It was attended by clients and members of the public and private sectors, including The Hon. Michael Halkitis, Minister of State for Finance and Christina Rolle, Executive Director Securities Commission. Dan Wright introduced the Private Wealth Management team, and talked briefly about the specialized services.

“Our team provides clients with customised solutions in five key areas of wealth management – investment planning and asset management; credit planning and management; wealth protection and structuring; cash management; and business planning. We understand that our clients’ lifestyles, finances and investments are complex which dictate a higher level of service and professional attention than most. Our team here at CIBC FirstCaribbean has the skills and means, by which to give them the assistance they deserve.”

Mr. Wright continued. “We will combine the new private wealth offering with the existing strength of the Trust company here in Nassau. We will build on our regional reputation and long standing presence and track record to grow the business. This, coupled with the strong, established backing of the CIBC name, guarantees that we are more than capable of meeting the complex financial requirements of our clients with professional, sophisticated attention and sound wealth management expertise. We recognise the need and usefulness of having a more personalized service in The Bahamas where we can meet our clients to suit their time either in or out of the office.”
