Bahamas to Host Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) Conference‏

The Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) in conjunction with the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CCWA) will be hosting the above-mentioned Conference at Atlantis, Paradise Island during the period 6-10 October, 2014. Please see the Schedule of Events (attached) for the Conference which features Technical Sessions, Workshops and Seminars, an Opening Ceremony, and an Awards Banquet.

The Opening Ceremony, will take place on October 6th and The Rt. Hon. Perry Gladstone Christie, PM, the Hon. Philip Davis, DPM and Minister of Works & Urban Development, as well as Cabinet Ministers from the Bahamas and the Region are expected to be in attendance.

Additionally, the Conference also features a one-and-a-half day High Level Session which will be held on Thursday, October 9th and Friday the 10th and will involve Ministers with responsibility for the water and wastewater sectors and related agencies from the Caribbean.
