Courtesy call on Education Minister by Chinese Ambassador

NASSAU Bahamas - The Chinese Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, His Excellency Haung Quiguo, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Education, The Honorable Jeffrey Lloyd at his office on University Blvd. Accompanying the Ambassador was Ying Qu, First Secretary of the Economic & Commercial Counsellor’s Office of The Bahamas, of the People's Republic of China and  Wu Wenzhao, Attaché Economic & Commercial Counsellor's Office of the People's Republic of China to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Also in attendance was the Hon Michael Foulkes, M.P., Golden Gates and Chairman of the Education Loan Authority, along with Reginald Saunders, Under Secretary for the Ministry of Education.

During the visit, the delegation discussed future partnerships between the Ministry of Education and China and the Chinese ambassador extended an invitation to the Education Minister, to attend an Education Expo in China, slated for 2018.
