Nassau, Bahamas - Emanji circus which took place from July 21st to 23rd is the first of its kind in The Bahamas.  It is the only all-star, all Bahamian circus, with acts that can compete with any international acrobatic troupe.

The acrobats and dancers work year-round to perfect their art and to give the public a dazzling performance.  That's what Emanji delivered at the National Center for the Performing Arts.

Under the theme "Green", the circus brought the legend of the chicharney to life.  The mythical creature then brought life to various animals in the green forest including a peacock, cats, dogs, and a spider.  Even a doll was transformed into a human fairy who wowed the crowd as she traversed the rings.

The acrobats also showed off stunts on the trapeze, silk ropes and poles, showing that The Bahamas has enough talented people to sustain every facet of art and culture.  The theme "Green" was designed to nurture, especially in the kids, the appreciation for nature and the need to respect and preserve it.
