Grand Hyatt Baha Mar today announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. Now in its eighth year, the achievement celebrates businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, restaurants and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

More than 260 Hyatt properties have received the coveted award from 2014 to 2018.

Since hosting its first guests in 2017, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar has been praised for the warm hospitality of its associates and its diverse dining options, ranging from ultra high-end Chinese cuisine at Shuang Ba to the locally sourced and globally inspired take on seafood at 3 Tides Fish House.

“We are honored to be recognized with the 2018 Certificate of Excellence. Our goal is to help each guest create their best experience when they visit Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. This award is a great source of pride for our hardworking team,” said General Manager Scott Allen. “We thank all of the guests who made their voices heard and promise to continue delivering an exemplary level of service that makes every visit memorable.”

“TripAdvisor is excited to announce the recipients of the 2018 Certificate of Excellence, which celebrates businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition allows us to publicly honor businesses that are actively engaging with customers and using feedback to help travelers identify and confidently book the perfect trip.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
