SLIDE SHOW: 2011 Miss Earth Bahamas Contestants

Nassau, Bahamas - In a evening of anticipation Twenty One (21) contestants combined of the 2011 Miss Earth Bahamas and Miss Teen Bahamas took to the stage at the Wyndham Nassau Resorts Ballroom in their presentation show.

The evening began with the contestants sporting "Go Green" cute dresses while detailing a go green platform (should they be one of the lucky titleholders) to the judges and voting audience. This was followed by the contestants modeling swimsuits, high fashion outfits and evening gowns. The evening gowns were sponsored by Dedonaire Boutique.

The evening had a dual purpose, the unveiling of the "Go Green Divas" and the voting by the judges and audiences for the Bahamas representatives to the United Nations Miss & Teen Pageant being held in Africa and s top model who will represent the Bahamas at one of the worlds largest HIV Aids fundraiser for 2011 being held in Atlanta dubbed Positive Runway ..Global Catwalk.

The winners will be announced at the Preliminary competition slated for July 16th, 2011.

The winner of the Top Model Competition will compete among some of the worlds best models for a chance to win one million dollars.

President of the Bahamas Beauty Organization and producer of the Miss Bahamas and Miss Teen Bahamas Pageants, Ms. Gaynell Rolle said she is so excited of the continous support received from the international agencies and companies that seeks to promote the Bahamas via her organization.. "We continue to grow being filled with new opportunities for our beauties. I am so please of the real chances that our beauties have to made a mark on the international world stage.. we only endorse opportunities where there is a level playing field for our beauties".

The grand finale is set for July 24 at the Rain Forest Theatre where the representative to the Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Progress International, Miss Princess of the World, Miss Teen Universal and Miss Teen International World  for the Bahamas will be crowned. This years pageant sponsors are Le Bleu, Celsius, Nature Secret, Compass Point, DeBonaire Boutique, Wyndham Nassau Resorts, Dolphins Encounters, Ministry of Youth, Sacha Cosmetics and Donald Knowles.Tickets are available from the contestants and at the Wyndham Box Office.
