Nassau, Bahamas - The CEO Network returns in 2018 with an impressive line-up of influential leaders, CEOs, and professionals from all walks of life who are eager to meet Bahamians and make the kind of connections that bring global success.

Conference President Deborah Bartlett officially announced its return at a press conference Wednesday at the Melia Resort. For 15 years consecutively, the CEO Network Conference was held in Nassau to "promote a strengthened work ethic, raise levels of productivity and serve as a networking platform for economic empowerment". After a four-year hiatus, Ms. Bartlett says she is excited to bring international movers and shakers to our shores.

The conference will be held April 25-28 at the Melia Resort under the theme: "Restoring and Strengthening the Pillars of Our Nation Toward Economic Emancipation". Global leaders from the USA, Africa, the Caribbean and The Bahamas will join for three days of intense workshops, motivational sessions and networking opportunities.

The main guest speaker will be Dr. Ben Carson, Secretary of Housing in United States President Donald Trump's cabinet, becoming the first sitting US cabinet minister to visit The Bahamas during this administration.

Prime Minister of The Bahamas Dr. Hubert Minnis will address the conference, American media mogul William Armstrong and Ambassador Clarion Chukwarah Boyd, United Nations Special Peace Envoy and many others. Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister D. Peter Turnquest will make a presentation as well as Minister of Immigration Brent Symonette and Minister of Tourism, Dionisio D'Aguilar. Members of several African Royal families will be in attendance and will also address the event, as will Leader of the Opposition Philip 'Brave' Davis.

During the press conference, President of the Bahamas Christian Council Bishop Delton Fernander and President of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce Edison Sumner were in attendance to show their support for the conference, which is considered empowering for businesses and individuals of all sectors in The Bahamas.
