Yoni Epstein - Founder and CEO of Island Outsourcers, recently named by the Montego Bay Free Zone as the “2013 Employer of the Year” has been involved in the contact center industry for approximately fourteen (14) years. Prior to establishing his own outsourcing firm in 2012, Mr. Epstein served as Director of Site Operations at Sandals and Beaches Resorts’ contact centre — Unique Vacations Limited; where he managed 15 business units, 400+ employees in six countries simultaneously.

Mr. Epstein became part of a team of operators who spearheaded the development of the Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica and was nominated President tasked with the responsibility of collaborating with industry players and the Government to expand Jamaica’s outsourcing industry. In his capacity as President of the Association, Mr. Epstein is seen as the ‘ultimate and leading authority” on the subject of outsourcing in Jamaica. This was commemorated by his recent achievement ranked 23rd in the Nearshore Americas: Power 50 Visionaries, Advocates and Architects in the Americas due to his role in the growth and visibility of the outsourcing industry.  Mr. Epstein currently represents the ICT/BPO industry on the eGov Jamaica Limited and National Information Communications Technology (ICT) Advisory Council and the Jamaica Apprenticeship Committee. Mr. Epstein was also designated as an Ambassador in the Ambassadorial Corp programme for the University of the West Indies – Western Jamaica Campus.

Although originally a Sous Chef who pursued his education in Hospitality Management at the Florida International University and later studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Miami, Florida; Yoni had a keen interest in business process outsourcing. Mr. Epstein has a vested interest in the growth and sustainable development of the ICT/BPO sector and continues to strive to bring the industry to its full potential.

Troy Cotton - Chief Operating Officer comes from what is currently knows as Xerox but was with the well-known entity e-Services Group International since April 2004. Prior to e-Services,

Mr. Cotton worked in various high level management capacities in organizations in the United States, Mexico and Australia managing over 300+ employees. His professional tenure in the Call Centre industry dates back from 1989 and now boasts over 2 decades and 3 continents of Management expertise. With a background in Psychology, Financial Management and Operations, Troy is dedicated to Client satisfaction, business growth and solid partnerships.

Lisa Lake - Chief Development Officer comes with significant experience in developing business development plans to support business growth.

She spearheads the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship-Caribbean, a non-profit initiative that gives aspiring entrepreneurs the hope, mentorship, and business skills to thrive and grow their businesses. She also sits on the Economic Planning Committee of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica.

Lisa Lake holds a BA in Economics (magna cum laude)and a BA in Architectural Studies (magna cum lade) from Tufts University and a Masters of Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School.

Alex Cafferata - General Manager comes with significant experience in marketing and paralegal with a Bahamian law firm.

Later she became General Manager for a Bahamas-based software and call-center entity.

Alex has a proven track record in strategic planning, marketing, project management, contact center operations and excellence in customer service. Alex earned a Foundation Diploma at Chelsea Art College, leading to a Degree in Typographical Design from London College of Communications.

Darlene Bullard - Operations Manager Upon completion of her secondary education Darlene furthered her studies at Florida Metropolitan University where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting. However she did not stop there being a firm believer in hard work and perseverance she also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management at Keiser University. Upon her return from pursuit of her tertiary education she held various positions in management at various resorts on Grand Bahama. She is currently the Operations Manager for the Bahamas site of Island Outsourcers. With her love for people and her dedication to giving back to the community she returned to the Bahamas with the goal to make an impact and bring about change in the lives of young Bahamians. She is  a mentor for young girls at her church as well as various young women in the community.
