Queen’s College presents Bahamian Exchange

Nassau, Bahamas - QC Centre for Further Education presents The Bahamian Exchange, taking place at Queen’s College Primary Hall on March 9, 2018 featuring Sir Charles Carter, History; Hon. Brent Symonette, Politics & Community; Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin, Politics and Community; Elma Garraway, Education; Fred Ferguson, Culture & Entertainment; Kentisha Ward, Business & Entrepreneurship; Erin Brown, Personal Triumph; Allan Wallace, Art; Rev. Carla Culmer and Demetrius Smith, Humanitarianism.

The Bahamian Exchange formerly known as the Human Library Showcase is returning bigger and better for a second year. This event showcases people from different backgrounds and experiences to share life from their perspective. The format of this experience is designed to foster intimate conversations. Therefore, features will have the opportunity to converse with participants in groups of no more than 3 for up to 10 minutes.

The event is open to the general public from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. There will be three sessions: Session A, 6:10 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Session B, 7:05 p.m. – 7:55 p.m. and Session C, 8:00 a.m. – 8:50 p.m. All attendees must pre-register at the QC Centre for Further Education office at a nominal fee of $20. Event sponsors include Generali, Bahamas First, Sun Oil Limited and KBII Communication.
