The Grand Bahama American Women's Club, an International affiliate of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, invites interested persons to our Luncheon on Monday, January 9th at Ruby Swiss Restaurant. There will be a Social Hour at 11:000 AM with a Noon luncheon, brief meeting and program. Topic: The Pet Caregiver's Dilemma - Assessing Quality of Life and Knowing When to Say Goodbye Speaker: Dr. Mary Gardiner The Club is a nonpartisan, volunteer service organization of women. On the island the club has been instrumental in testing of sight and hearing in public schools, established an environmental educational trust fund for the children of Grand Bahama (through the Bahamas National Trust), and the distribution of thousands of dollars in scholarships and philanthropic donations to local schools and organizations.
