Bahamas Humane Society 5th annual Photography Contest

The Bahamas Humane Society’s announces its Fifth Annual Photography Contest sponsored by Mr. Photo and Bahamas Local. Photographers of all ages can participate in this fun competition.

Categories include: Aspiring Photographers: Age 10 and under, Junior Category: Age 11-16, Adults: Age 17 and over, and Professionals: Age 17 and over

There are seven subjects to select from and they include: Potcakes, Animals, Nature, Marvelous Faces, Vacation Memories, Underwater, and The Bond (the connection between animals & animals or animals and people).

The entry fee is $10.00 per image and each entry must be submitted as an 8x10 dry mount which can be facilitated at all Mr. Photo locations. Contest ends Friday, September 12th, 2014.

Entry Drop-off Locations are Mr. Photo's 3 locations, the Bahamas Humane Society Shelter in Chippingham, Graham Real Estate, Shirley & Victoria Avenue, Windermere West, Caves Village, and Windermere East, Harbour Bay.

The Bahamas Humane Society will host a Prizes & Awards Cocktail Event at the Green Parrot's Harbourfront Lounge at 6pm on Thursday, September 25th 2014. The winning photos will be on display and prizes will be awarded. All photo entrees will be displayed for viewer enjoyment. The top three photos in each class will be awarded prizes.
