Grand Bahama Island - Mercury Rising Media will be in Freeport for casting on Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th.
DAYBREAK is the new feature film by Kareem Mortimer shooting in Nassau and Eleuthera July 1 to July 24. DAYBREAK is a Bahamian story of four very different people whose lives intersect as they learn universal life lessons about themselves and the world around them.
Any actors who feel they would be right for the film should please turn up today with photos and resume(if you have) - photos will be taken there if not. Auditions will take place in Freeport at UNEXSO between Noon and 5pm.

*Actors should bring a Photo and Resume if they have one and be prepared for a cold read.
ROLES: Strong actors in various roles and age ranges:
- Black woman 35-40, preachers wife who is questioning her life and purpose, strong, religious, self riteous
- Black man 35-50, preacher, strong masculine, compassionate and understanding
- Young man 25-30, white or black, must have comedic timing, American living in The Bahamas, bartender, stoner, funny
- Older black woman 50-65, used to being the head of her house, religious, quick wit
- Children ages 8-11, able to act and take direction
- Various other roles for black men and women ages 20-50
