Come, see a man...

John.4: 29. Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
The Samaritan woman at the well was very religious, but fate would have it that on this particular day her religion / religious beliefs would be abruptly dashed to pieces as she would have a personal encounter with Yahshua Messiah.
Here’s a classic example of the result in having a personal encounter with The Messiah: “John.4: 28. The woman then left her water pot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
:29. Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
Please hear me !
In religion there is, and will forever be a ball of confusion; especially in the Religion of Christianity. For in this religion there are so many divided, divisive groups and denominations that are HELL bent on promoting their agenda and beliefs. In Christianity such religious denominations as The Anglicans, The Catholics, The Methodist, The Seventh Day, The Baptist, etc, etc, etc;
The followers / members of these Religious Groups are so committed and devoted to their Religion and Religious Leaders to the point that despite the fact many of them would know what the word of God says; they’d rather hold-fast to their religion than that of faithfully obeying God’s word.
This spirit of religion is an ancient spirit that has and will forever try to work its way into the TRUE CHURCH of Christ / Messiah, as it has effectively done in the Organized Churches of today. Thereby think it not strange most of today’s Church Leaders are called and indentified as Religious Leaders.
Here’s how the Apostle Paul dealt with it when confronted with the subtle religious spirit:
1Corinth.1: 10. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
:11. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
:12. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
:13. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
1Corinth.1: 10. Now, dear brothers and sisters, I appeal to you by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ to stop arguing among yourselves. Let there be real harmony so there won't be divisions in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
:11. For some members of Chloe's household have told me about your arguments, dear friends.
:12. Some of you are saying, "I am a follower of Paul." Others are saying, "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Peter," or "I follow only Christ."
:13. Can Christ be divided into pieces? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul?
Here’s how verse # 12 would sound today “I follow or go to Bishop, Prophet, Doctor, Apostle ________ church; I’m a Catholic, I’m an Anglican or I’m a Baptist,
Being the Spirit filled, man of wisdom that he was; the Apostle Paul wasn’t swayed by this religious, divisive spirit as the Church / Religious Leaders of today are. The Samaritan woman at the well and the Apostle Paul both had a personal encounter with the Lord, and as a result their religion and religious beliefs was abruptly shattered.
I strongly and humbly submit to you, as you’re reading this article that God (Father Yahweh) is interested in a personal relationship with you, in and through his Son (Yahshua Messiah); rather than you having and holding fast to your religion and religious beliefs. I like to say it this way “Don’t settle for just simply knowing the word of God; but rather get to personally know the God of the word”
One of the tragedies in not personally know God, is that of being told of Him by someone that can only speak of Him from a religious point of view which he / she may have attained in a religious seminary; verses that of them also having a personal relationship with Him.
In religion the word of God is divided in the manner that best suites the said religion’s agenda, its aim and objectives.
I hasten to say that “There is a right and a wrong way to divide the word of God / word of truth; but if you don’t study the word of God for yourself and have a personal relationship with Him, how would you know if what you’re hearing / being fed is the truth?”
The Apostle Paul puts it this way as he admonished his spiritual son Timothy:
2Tim2: 15. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I encourage you to pursue after a personal relationship with Him, cast aside and put you’re your religion and religious beliefs; in so doing you’d be able to proudly and boldly say to those you’ll encounter as the Samaritan woman said “John.4: 29. Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?”
