The Pastor's Pulpit
It’s your Faith, Not your tears!

It’s your FAITH that prompts God (Yahweh) to move on your behalf; not your tears.  Despite the fact that the scripture says “He collects our tears in his bottle” (Ps.56:8).

NLT:  Ps.56: 8. You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

The simplicity of God’s word seems to be too simple for the religious minded to receive and believe. Therefore erroneous religious teachings and beliefs would have you to believe that there’s much more that a person has to do; in order for God to move on their behalf.  Whereas absolutely nothing could be further from the truth.

We’re living in a day and time where religious rhetoric and is making actual events that’s recorded in the bible to be viewed by a vast majority of the church-folks as fairy tale stories; like that of “ Little Red Riding Hood or Snow White ”

The teachings of faith and the exercising thereof has been so watered down via the incomplete prosperity gospel and the misappropriating of God’s word; to the point that most Christians have wholeheartedly bought into the baseless “Name it & claim it, or Money cometh to me now” mixture of the prosperity gospel.

Notwithstanding that it is God’s will to prosper his people; crafty / ulterior motives religious leaders have methodically taken the prosperity concept of the kingdom and are mercilessly fleecing the Body of Messiah.

The exercising of one’s faith is paramount to God moving on his / her behalf; as faith is exercised based upon the unadulterated word of God, the chances of being taken for a ride by crafty religious leaders is greatly minimized.

Here are a few cases / actual events where faith is exercised:
Lk.8:41-56. A synagogue ruler / a father by the name of (Jairus, and a woman having an issue of blood),

Knowing her condition and after spending all of her money on physicians; this woman didn’t resort to tears but decided to break all of the religious rules and step out in faith to secure her healing.

Here’s Yahshua’s response to her “Lk.8: 48.  And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

Jairus, had one of the worst experiences that every parent worldwide care not to experience or go through. While walking with Yahshua Messiah (a.k.a. Jesus the Christ), Jairus got the news that his daughter had died.

What was Yahshua’s response to Jarius?

Lk.8: 50.  But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

No matter what situation you’re facing / dealing with (medical, financials, marital, etc;) if you would press your way pass the barriers of religion and begin to exercise your faith; you would immediately invite God into your affairs.

The exercising of a little faith has the ability to positively move / shift great things in the life of a person.
Matt.17: 19.  Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
: 20.  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

This word faith in the Greek is: pistis, pis'-tis; and it has several meanings such as (1) persuasion, (2) conviction, (3) system of belief, (4) assurance, (5) fidelity.

Faith in God is the strongest foundation that a man / woman can build upon. A man’s faith mixed with the word of God and covered in the blood of Yahshua Messiah will forever put the enemy and every ungodly situation / circumstances to flight.
It’s in trying / difficult times such as these that God (Yahweh) looks for a man or woman (a people) that He can show himself strong through.  As governments and other systems fail it’s imperative that we who name the name of Messiah stand strong in, and exercise the faith of which we profess.

As we’re tested and tried on every side; please know that tears will cause the test and trials to cease. But rather standing in faith and declaring the word of faith in and over every situation is the best solution to whatever comes against us.

It’s your faith, not your tears!
