The Pastor's Pulpit
When God / Yahweh Speaks

The most popular sayings among today’s church leadership in order to mesmerize their followers is “The Lord told me, or The Holy Spirit just said to me” I’m often left asking the question “Do these Religious Leaders really know how dangerous it is to tell lies in God’s name?”

Here’s what most church leaders failed to relies!   They’re constantly opening doors for the enemy / Satan to gain access into the affairs of their lives and ministries when they start prophet-lying.

In most cases, it’s normally during the height of a church service when the atmosphere is emotionally charged that the religious leaders in seeking to mesmerize and captivate their congregation get off into the spirit of prophet-lying. This is done so subtlety in that the church leaders sees nothing wrong with them saying “God just told me to tell you A.B. or C.” when in fact God / Yahweh has said no such thing to them.

Preaching and teaching the uncompromising, unadulterated word of God as the Holy Spirit leads is powerful enough to set the captives free, to bind up the broken hearted and to cause a surrendering of men’s heart unto the Lord. This is evident throughout the New Testament church and it is something that the Anti- Christ spirit has forever been working and fighting against; one of his strategic moves is that of causing a spirit of prophet-lying to be interjected into the preached / teaching of God’s word.
God is simply looking for available, submissive vessels that He can use; those who will not seek personal glory, attention and honor, but rather will give all glory and honor unto Him. There’s no man or woman (Bishop, Doctor, Apostle, Pastor, Prophet, etc ;) that can make God’s word come to pass; for God, Himself watches over His word to perform it.
“Jer.1: 12.   Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”

When God speaks, those who are led by His Spirit will know that He has spoken; unlike that which we’re seeing taking place in the church today. Whereby a church leader can get up and emotionally entertain / move his or her congregation and no change takes place in the lives of the hearers, and even the preachers. When and wherever there’s a Rhema word from God there’s change; either change in the lives of the hearers or change in the place for which that word has been given.
Herein lies one of our (Today’s Church) many problems; we’ve skillfully mastered the art of condoning and tolerating sin, and in so doing we will twist, bend, misappropriate and even take the word of God out of context.   To pacify the outcry against the sinful lifestyle (especially if it’s the lifestyle of a Leader), the following can often be heard “Well, the bible say; We all have sin and come short of God’s glory” This is where the religious church games comes into play, where supposedly mature church-folks believe that they can live any kind of sinful lifestyle and then pull / play their Grace card. What’s interesting with these types of Christians is that they can preach, prophesy, sing songs unto the Lord or skillfully play an instrument in church at the drop of a dime; and afterwards without any kind of fear for God or guilt walk right back into the ungodly lifestyle.
I’m compelled to ask this question “With all of the so-called prophets around today and the amount of prophecy that’s going forth, how it is that God isn’t speaking to all the mess that’s going on in the church; especially by leaders? Pastors physically fighting each other, and taking one another to court for control of the church; Men lying with men / homosexuality, Women lying with women / lesbianism, Adultery, Fornication, financial greed and selfish hoarding, etc; by those within the church

Contrary to popular erroneous religious beliefs, the financial, feel good, God’s going to bless someone prophecies that are going forth in the church today are not of God but rather are of the ulterior motives Pastors and False Prophets that are scattering and dividing His sheep. The spiritual, moral, social and ethical deterioration of our nation speaks loudly to this undisputable, undeniable fact.
As God / Yahweh spoke to the Nation of Israel through His prophet Jeremiah, He’s so speaking to us today.
KJV: Jer.23: 1. Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

NLT: Jer.23: 11.   "The priests are like the prophets, all ungodly, wicked men. I have seen their despicable acts right here in my own Temple," says the LORD.
: 14.   But now I see that the prophets of Jerusalem are even worse! They commit adultery, and they love dishonesty. They encourage those who are doing evil instead of turning them away from their sins. These prophets are as wicked as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah once were."
: 16.   This is my warning to my people," says the LORD Almighty. "Do not listen to these prophets when they prophesy to you, filling you with futile hopes. They are making up everything they say. They do not speak for the LORD!
: 21.   "I have not sent these prophets, yet they claim to speak for me. I have given them no message, yet they prophesy.
: 22.   If they had listened to me, they would have spoken my words and turned my people from their evil ways.
:23. 23.   Am I a God who is only in one place?" asks the LORD. "Do they think I cannot see what they are doing?

As a Pastor, I’m not ignorant of the fact that by declaring God’s uncompromised, unadulterated word will forever put me on the opposite side of today’s Religious Leaders who are building their empires / dynasties from the church pulpit; but here’s my consistent stand / position. I would rather have the entire religious community mad / angry at me every day of my life for declaring God’s word, rather than to have God angry at me ONE DAY for not doing so.

When God / Yahweh speaks He doesn’t gives suggestions and recommendations but rather He gives commands, instructions and directions, etc;

He that hat an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the church:
