Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - Pelican Bay Hotel has launched their new iPad technology for two of their meeting rooms, the Coral Reef and Delphines, in their state-of-the-art Canal House conference facility ideal for small or larger business meetings or conferences.

Jacy Whittaker, Attorney at Law at Parris Whittaker Counsel was the first to use the Ipad for a business meeting. " I felt honoured to be the first client to use this latest iPad technology. This was my third time using the Canal House, the building is amazing and they are always making improvements," said Whittaker.

The iPad once connected controls volume, audio, CD/DVD controls, electric window shades and the computer projector connection display. It is a very convenient tool for persons who want to control their room from the podium or any other suitable place in the room. The new technology will also allow you to give Pelican Bay management immediate feedback regarding your experience through  a quick survey on the iPad, as it the hotel's mandate to always ensure they are offering their clients the best experience.


Pelican Bay at Lucaya is owned by Sundt AS, a private investment company based in Norway.  Pelican Bay is the only investment that Sundt AS has in the Bahamas.  Sundt is also the majority shareholder of Pandox, a Swedish-based hotel property company.
