Armed robbery near Casuarina Bridge in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 16th December 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 3:00pm, two males while in the area of the Casuarina Bridge were held up and robbed of a light blue 2002 Chrysler van, cash and other personal items, by two males armed with a handgun. Police later recovered the van off East Sunrise Highway.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the public for assistance in giving any information that may assist in this investigation, to call them at telephone numbers 350-3107 thru12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station..
