Latest homicide: Man shot in vehicle ending up in water at Saunders Beach

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are appealing to the public for information to assist in their investigations into the country’s latest murder of a male that occurred on Saturday 31st December 2016.

Reports are that around 2:30am, a man had just pulled off in his vehicle from a sporting club on West Bay Street, when someone fired several shots at him. The male lost control of his vehicle, sending it into the water at Saunders Beach. Shortly thereafter the lifeless body of the male was pulled from the vehicle by bystanders and taken to shore where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations are ongoing.
