Man stabbed to death in Nassau Village, police seek public's help

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects responsible for the stabbing death of a man that occurred on Saturday 13th February 2016.

Reports are that shortly before 8:00pm, police received a report of a male being stabbed at Sumner Street, Nassau Village. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of an adult male with apparent stab wounds to the body. The male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial police investigations revealed the victim is alleged to have been involved in an altercation at a nearby street that led to him being stabbed.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
