Murder suspect who alluded capture for 2 years now in police custody

Nassau, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2017, Police are pleased to report the arrest of one of the Royal Bahamas Police most wanted criminals Mark McKenzie, after being on the run for two years.

According to reports, McKenzie was arrested without incident around 2:00pm on Saturday 4th March 2017, when officers from the Firearm’s Tracing and Investigation Unit assisted by officers from the Eastern Division acting on intelligence, conducted a search of home located at Tundra Court, Winton Meadows and found McKenzie in possession of a .38 revolver and a .40 pistol with 28 live rounds of ammunition.

Additionally a quantity of marijuana was also uncovered.

Two adult females and an adult male occupant of the home were also arrested.

McKenzie is wanted for questioning in connection with several murders that occurred over the past two years.
