Nassau man found dead beside ATM machine on Jerome Avenue

POLICE SEARCH FOR SUSPECT AND VEHICLE OF INTEREST IN EARLY MORNING MURDER

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect and a vehicle of interest seen in a surveillance video footage believe to be connected to a shooting death of a man that occurred on Sunday 12th June 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 8:00am, police received a report of a man lying down in the ATM booth of a local bank on Jerome Avenue. On arrival at the scene, officers found the lifeless body of an adult male, who had been shot. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE ARE URGING ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE IDENTITY OF THE SUSPECT OR WHEREABOUTS OF THE VEHICLE, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, IS URGED TO ANONYMOUSLY CONTACT THE POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1- 242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
