Escaped prisoner has turned himself in

Nassau, Bahamas - UPDATED (11pm) Police have advised that the escaped prisoner, Ramon Selva turned himself in at CDU around 8pm this evening...

Police had launched a massive island-wide manhunt for 20 - year-old Ramon Selva who escaped from lawful custody on Sunday 26th June 2016.

Selva who was being detained for firearm possession is described as a dark brown male of a slim build and about 5’ 9” to 5’ 11” in height.

Police consider Selva to be armed and dangerous - if he is spotted members of the public are urged not to approach him but instead call police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477)OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
