Nassau police searching for suspects in 4 shootings

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects in several shooting incidents that have left a man dead and five persons detained in hospital.

In the first incident, shortly after 7:00am on Friday 21st October 2016, a man was standing in front of his home located at Moncur Alley off Kemp Road, when a male armed with a handgun approached and shot him before fleeing in a silver Honda Fit vehicle license number 320478.

Later that evening, shortly before 11:00pm, a man was involved in an argument with another male on Miami Street that led to him being shot with a handgun. The suspect fled on foot.

Then shortly after 12:00midnight on Saturday 22nd October 2016, police received a report of a man found dead on Lincoln Boulevard. When Police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of an adult male who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

In the final incident, shortly after 2:30am on Saturday 22nd October 2016, a man was involved in an altercation with another man at a nightclub located on Fox Hill and Sugar Hill Roads that led to him being shot. Also a Male and female patrons of the club were shot as a result of the altercation. The three victims were transported to hospital where they remain in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
