Nassau police seek suspects in 2 drive-by shootings and 2 armed robberies

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN TWO SEPARATE SHOOTINGS

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects responsible for two separate shooting incidents that have left several persons detained in hospital.

In the first incident, shortly before 12:00midnight on Saturday 28th May 2016, three adult males were standing in front of a home located on Sutton Street off Kemp Road, when the occupants of a grey Honda Torino car pulled up and fired several shots at them before speeding off. The males were rushed to hospital where two of them remain in serious condition and the other in stable condition.

Then shortly after, 12:00am on Sunday 29th May 2016, a group of males were standing on Fowler Street off East Street, when several males in a vehicle pulled up and fired several shots at them before speeding off.

Three of the males were shot and transported to hospital where two of them remain in serious condition and the other in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.

SUSPECTS IN TWO SEPARATE ARMED ROBBERIES BEING SOUGHT BY POLICE

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects responsible for two separate armed robberies that occurred on Saturday 28th May 2016.

In the first incident, shortly before 8:00am, a man was standing in front of his residence off JFK Drive, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of cash before fleeing on foot.

Then later that day shortly after 12:00noon, a woman was about to make a deposit at a Bank located onPoinciana Drive, when two males armed with handguns robbed her of the deposit bag containing a largeamount of cash and her wallet containing cash and personal documents. The suspects then fled the scenein a blue four door Honda Accord car.

Investigations are ongoing.
