THE SEARCH CONTINUES FOR THREE SUSPECTS IN YESTERDAY’S SHOOTING DEATH
Nassau, Bahamas - Police are continuing their search for three males responsible for the shooting death of a male that occurred on Monday 17th October 2016.
Reports are that shortly after 9:30am, a man was sitting in a parked vehicle on Walnut Street, Pinewood Gardens, when three men armed with handguns emerged from a white van and shot him before speeding off. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
FIREARM SEIZED, MALE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
Consistent with the
Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2016, officers from the South
Central Division took an adult male into custody following the seizure
of an illegal firearm on Monday 17th October 2016.
Reports are
that shortly before 3:00pm, a team of officers from the South Central
Division, acting on information went to a home located at Lawrence
Court, Yellow Gardens, where they conducted a search and uncovered a 9 -
millimeter handgun. An adult male was subsequently arrested in
connection with this discovery.
