One dead, two in hospital, Nassau police appeal for info after two shootings

Nassau, Bahamas - The police are also appealing to the public for information to assist in their investigations into two separate shooting incidents that has left a man dead and two others detained in hospital on Saturday 11th February 2017.

In the first incident, shortly after 10:00pm, a group of persons were attending a party on Deans Street, when the occupants of a blue self drive vehicle pulled up and fired several shots into the crowd before speeding off. Two males were shot and taken to hospital where one of them remains in serious condition and the other in stable condition.

Then shortly after 11:00pm, a male was standing outside of his home located on Graham Drive, Yellow Elder Gardens, when the occupants of a white Nissan vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are actively investigating these two incidents and have launched and island-wide manhunt for the suspects responsible.
