One man dead after two weekend shootings in Nassau, Police seek public's help

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspects responsible for two weekend shootings that have left a man dead and another man detained in hospital.

In the first incident, shortly after 7:00pm on Friday 2nd September 2016, two men were walking in Union Village when they were shot. The victims were rushed to hospital where, one of them was detained in serious condition and the other in stable condition. One of the men was pronounced dead on Sunday 4th September 2016.

In the second incident, shortly after 3:00am on Monday 5th September 2016, a man was standing outside of his home located at McCullough Corner, when he was approached by two men armed with a handgun, who shot him before fleeing on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.
