RBPF Wanted: Derron 'Monkey' Deveaux and Michael 'Spanker' Augustine

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have launched a manhunt and public appeal for two suspects responsible for a shooting incident that has left two persons detained in hospital on Tuesday 28th February 2017.

Reports are that shortly before 3:00pm, two men were standing in front of a building in Pinedale, when two men armed with handguns approached and shot them before fleeing on foot. The victims were transported to hospital where they are detained in stable condition.

Police recovered a 9 – millimeter pistol with three live rounds of ammunition from the scene.

The first suspect is 22 – year old Derron Ericon Deveaux, otherwise called “Monkey” of Lakeview Street, Big pond Subdivision.

Deveaux is a dark male of a slim build about 6’ 0” to 6’ 2” tall.

The second suspect is 23 – year old Michael Augustine, otherwise called “Spanker” of
Union Village.

Augustine is a dark male of a slim build about 6 feet tall.

These men are considered to be armed and dangerous. Police advise the public not to approach them. Instead, contact police immediately with any information.

Police wish to remind members of the public that it is a criminal offence to harbour these individuals, and persons providing a safe haven for these criminals will be prosecuted.
