Suspect in Nassau Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident Surrenders to Police

Nassau, Bahamas - (March 15 Update) Police are pleased to report that 25 – year old Jason Cleare of Faith Gardens, who was being sought in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred driver on Saturday 18th February 2017, turned himself into officers at the Police Traffic Department on Tuesday 14th March 2017.

(March 14) Police are searching for 25 – year old Jason Cleare of Faith Gardens, who was the driver of a blue Honda motorcar that failed to stop at the scene of a traffic accident, that left a man dead on Saturday 18th February 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 7:00pm on Saturday 18th February 2017, a man was riding his motorcycle on Hibiscus Road off Farrington Road, when a blue Honda vehicle collided with him and failed to stop. The victim was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday 19th February 2017.

Cleare is described as a medium brown male, slim build about 5’ 9 to 5’ 11” tall.
