Suspect Wanted for Rape Surrenders to Police

UPDATE (Feb 3): Wanted suspect Vernal Livingston Stubbs who police issued an All Points Bulletin (APB) for, turned himself into at the Central Detective Unit on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.

Stubbs is wanted for questioning reference the rape of a woman that occurred on Saturday 30th January 2016.

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for the rape of a woman that occurred on Saturday 30th January 2016.

Police identified the suspect as Vernal Livingston Stubbs, 20, of Baillou Hill Road South.

He’s described as a dark brown man of a slim build.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
