Dangerous Drug Arrest in Bimini - Feb 18, 2019 - 9:54:23 AM
 Police arrest two males on the island of Bimini after they were
found in possession of dangerous drugs in two separate incidents.
The
first incident occurred on Saturday 16th February 2019, shortly before
7:00pm, police were on routine patrol in the Porgy Bay area, when a male
who they observed was acting suspicious, officers then searched the
male and discovered on his person and in the vehicle he was driving, a
quantity of suspected cocaine and marijuana...

Exuma man dead after hoisted vehicle falls on him - Jan 28, 2019 - 1:00:44 PM
 Police on the island of Exuma are investigating an accident, which left an adult male dead, Sunday, 27th January, 2019.
According
to reports, shortly after 3:00pm, a man was working under a hoisted
vehicle, on his property in the settlement of Mt. Thompson, when it fell
on top of him. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to the
hospital, where he was pronounced dead...

Traffic fatality on Cat Island involving motorcycle - Jan 26, 2019 - 7:00:54 PM
 Police on Cat Island are investigating a traffic accident, Saturday, 26th January, 2019 which left an American male dead.
According
to reports, shortly before 12:00noon, a male was driving a 2018
Sonyoung 125cc motor cycle, north along Queens Highway, in the
settlement of Smith’s Bay, when he lost control of the cycle and crashed
into a utility pole, resulting in him receiving serious injuries. He
was transported to the Community Clinic in Smith’s Bay...

RBPF: Marijuana Plants discovered in Abaco - Jan 8, 2019 - 7:24:52 PM
 Reports are that on Tuesday 8th January 2019 shortly after 1:00pm,
police and Immigration officers, acting on information, went to an area
off Ernest Dean Highway, where they discovered a number of stolen
items, and (10) pots of suspected marijuana plants ranging from 1ft. to
3ft. in height. A 46 year old female Jamaican national who was found in
the area was arrested and taken into police custody.
A
short time later, while making further searches in the area, officers
discovered (50) marijuana plants ranging from 1ft. to 4ft. in height...

RBPF: Joint Operation by Police and Defense Force Officers in Bimini - Dec 17, 2018 - 9:57:09 AM
 Reports are that on Sunday 16th December 2018, shortly after 11:00am,
officers of the Bimini Division along with officers of the Royal Bahamas
Defense Force, acting on intelligence and in a joint operation, went to
a local resort on South Bimini where they boarded a 36ft. vessel that
was moored at that resort and discovered (12) illegal immigrants (3)
females and (9) males on board. A further search of the vessel was
conducted and the officers discovered a quantity of suspected marijuana.
The captain of that vessel, a resident of New Providence was arrested
and taken into police custody...

RBPF: Police investigate alledged drowning in waters of the Exuma Cays - Dec 17, 2018 - 9:00:59 AM
 Police are investigating an alleged drowning, Sunday, 16th December, 2018, which occurred in waters of the Exuma Cays.
According
to reports, shortly before 11:00am, a group of persons were on a diving
excursion in the Exuma Cays, between Highborns Cay and Allan Cay, when
one of the divers, an adult male, was discovered unresponsive in the
water. He was pulled from the waters, and CPR was administered, but was
unsuccessful.

Abaco shooting Incident - Dangerous drugs arrests - Dec 11, 2018 - 6:42:36 AM
 Reports are that on Monday 10th December 2018, shortly before 9:00pm,
police were called to Southside Road in Marsh Harbor, where it was
reported that three armed males, opened fire on a group of persons on
the outside of a business establishment and fled the area on foot. A
male victim received injuries to the leg and was transported to the
local clinic where he was treated and discharged...

RBPF Bimini: Homicide - Nov 5, 2018 - 7:27:10 AM
 Reports are that on Sunday 4th November 2018, shortly after 9:00pm,
a male was standing outside a business establishment in Porgy Bay,
Bimini, with a group of males, when a gunman clad in all black and armed
with a weapon, opened fire on the suspect, shooting him multiple times
about the body before fleeing on foot. The male victim was taken to the
Bimini Clinic where he succumbed to his injuries...

accident, which has left an adult male dead, Sunday, 21st October, 2018.

to reports, shortly after 7:00am, a vessel was attempting to dock at
Morton Salt, when a male crew member became entangled in rope on the
vessel and was seriously injured. The man, who was identifies as an
Indian National, was transported to the local community clinic where he

 Police on Long Island are investigating a traffic accident which left an adult male dead, Wednesday, 26thtSeptember, 2018.
According
to reports, shortly after 2:00pm, a male was driving a blue 2008 Honda
Accord car in the area of McKenzie Hill, Hard Bargain, Long Island, when
he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall. Medical
Personnel were called to the scene, attempted to revive the victim but
were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene...

RBPF: Firearms, ammunition and dangerous drug arrest in Abaco - Sep 26, 2018 - 6:00:19 AM
 Reports are that on Tuesday 25th September 2018, shortly after
3:00pm, officers of the Abaco District, acting on information, went to a
residence in Leisure Lee, Abaco, where a search was conducted and
officers discovered (1) .22 rifle, (1) .357 smith & wesson revolver,
(19) .22 rounds, (6) .357 rounds, (1) 12 gauge shotgun, (1) partial 12
gauge shotgun, (2) barrels, (1) magazine, (1) cross bow, and (1)
marijuana plant.
A female and a male were
arrested and taken into police custody. They are expected to be
arraigned before the Magistrate Court later this week...

Human body found in sand in Abaco - Sep 25, 2018 - 6:32:43 AM
 Reports are that on Monday 24th September 2018 shortly before
6:00pm, police in Abaco were called to the beach area of Crossing Rock,
where officers were shown a human body buried in the sand. The body was
retrieved by police and taken to the Marsh Harbor Clinic. An autopsy
would be performed to determine the exact cause of death and further
investigation by police to its identification.

Bimini police investigating alleged drowning - Sep 21, 2018 - 6:36:02 AM
 Reports are that on Thursday 20th September 2018, shortly after 12:00pm,
police were alerted of a drowning of a Bahamian male, who was a crew
member on board a 45 ft. fishing vessel named “Dawn Celeste”. Further
investigation revealed that while diving in waters of the Great Isaac,
the victim was found lying at the bottom of the ocean unresponsive. He
was taken to the Bimini Clinic, and later pronounced dead. An autopsy
would be performed to determine the exact cause of death...
