ABACO, The Bahamas  - A 21 year old male of Coopers Town, Abaco is in police custody after he was arrested by Abaco Police for a stabbing incident.

Reports are that on Monday 4th August 2014 around 10:30pm, a 25 year old male of Treasure Cay, Abaco while at a beach was reportedly attacked by a group of males and was stabbed in the upper body by one of the males who is known to him. He was seen by doctor and his condition is listed as serious. He was airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention.

The 21 year old suspect was later arrested by police and is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court later this week.

Investigations are continuing.
