26 yr-old Abaco man arrested for drugs and firearm - Drugs found at Old Airport Rd, Exuma

Abaco, Bahamas - A 26 year old male of Dundas Town, Abaco is in police custody after he was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Firearm.

Reports are that on Monday 28th July 2014 shortly after 5:00pm, Officers of the Marsh Harbour Police Station while on Oleander Street arrested the 26 year old male after he was found in possession of a quantity of suspected marijuana and cash suspected to be the proceeds from the sale of marijuana.

Officers of the Marsh Harbour Police Station while at the residence of the 26 year old male on the same date, also discovered a .380 silver and black 9mm pistol along with a clip and a small amount of suspected cocaine hidden in the boxing of the roof of his residence.

The 26 year old male is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court in connection with these matters.

EXUMA, Bahamas:

According to reports, shortly after 8:00pm on Monday 28th July 2014, Police in Exuma acting on intelligence

went to a bushy area at the Old Airport Road in Bahama Sound, where they uncovered a small quantity of

cocaine and marijuana.

No one was arrested for this seizure.
