53 yr old Kansas man dies on diving trip in Andros, Bahamas

ANDROS, Bahamas - Police in Andros are investigating the drowning death of a 53 – year old man of Morgan’s Bluff, Andros that occurred on Thursday 16th October 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 10:30am, the victim along with a male and female were on a diving trip, when he lost consciousness in waters off Morgan’s Bluff Andros. The victim was taken to shore and transported to the local clinic where he was pronounced dead by the Island’s local doctor shortly after 11:00am.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Investigations are ongoing.
