Abaco Police investigating alleged drowning off Guana Cay

Police in Abaco are investigating an alleged drowning of a 52 year old male visitor to that island.

Reports are that on Sunday 11th May 2014 around 5:00pm, a group of American visitors were travelling from Guana Cay to Hope Town on board a vessel when several of the males went into the water. One of the males reportedly then began experiencing some difficulties, he was assisted back on board where CPR was administered. He was brought back to March Harbour Abaco where emergency personnel awaited and was later pronounced dead by doctor at the Marsh Harbour Clinic.

Police are actively investigating this matter.
